An epic new play, in development, premiering 2026-27

MONEY is a new Canadian play in 3 Acts, spanning 3 generations of stories, with a cast of 8 of our country’s top theatre stars, including writer/director/performer Rick Miller.

MONEY aims to move the needle on one of the most important conversations of our time: how do we preserve democracy, and live together more equitably, peacefully, and sustainably? A big question that stirs up big emotions, which is why we need storytellers to get to the heart of it.

HANS: My Life in Fairy Tales

Wondrous and hilarious, HANS conjures the life and stories of Hans Christian Andersen, from his poor childhood as an “Ugly Duckling”, to fame across Europe. Beloved tales like “The Little Mermaid”, “Princess and the Pea”, and “Little Match Girl” come to life as you’ve never seen them before: through puppetry, live video, clown, slapstick comedy, opera, and an original accordion soundtrack!

Jungle Book

The classic Mowgli stories burst to life using spectacular video, shadow-play, and original music. Jungle Book will transport you from Mowgli’s childhood with the wolves, tigers, and elephants of India, to our urban jungle today. The hit show delves into themes of belonging, and our relationship to the animal kingdom.

FRANKENSTEIN: A Living Comic Book

This electrifying show uses comic book effects to reanimate the sci-fi classic. A young artist named Mary discovers the journal of Dr. Frankenstein, is drawn into his uncanny experiments, and discovers that we need to face the monsters of our own making… before they face us!

The BOOM Trilogy

Rick Miller's three explosive solo stage shows chronicling 75 years of history

A series of multimedia solo performances that collectively document the music, culture and events of the years 1945-2020. BOOM (Part 1), the first show in the trilogy, covers the Baby Boom generation, and was the most presented new play in Canada between 2015 and 2017. BOOM X (Part 2), which premiered in 2019, moves on to Generation X, and documents the years 1970-1995. Finally, Oct 2022 saw the premiere of BOOM YZ (Part 3), bringing the trilogy to a stirring close with stories from 1996-2020. All in all, the plays cover 75 years of history, through unforgettable storytelling, award-winning multimedia, and the voices of over 300 influential figures and musicians.
